Trillion Red: Metaphere
21/11/12 || Averatu
Trillion Red are not listed on Metallium, for good reason. Take all the musical stuff you like about Tool, and mix it with all the weird dark atmosphere of Swans, you get a heavy percussive moody goth band, or something. Unfortunately the vocal performance is somewhat lacking, in fact its quite crap, but seeing as how this is a one man project thing again, I guess the one man in charge would rather do it badly himself than play with others. The better option would be that he could find a vocalist, relinquish an iota of control, and do a two person project. Fortunately the vocals are not the crux f the concept at hand. I’m hoping the version to be released to the masses does not utilize the crap compression causing the symbols to sound like clanging beer cans in a drain pipe, I like the music but wont be able to listen to it again due to sonically induced nausea. Even with the issues its a very strong release.

7/10: Sad looking git makes interesting music.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
